Ulrich Zwingli was born in 1484, 2 months after Martin Luther. He headed the Swiss Reformation, mainly from the church in Zurich.
In 1521 Martin Luther was summoned to appear before the Diet of Worms to recant his opinions, which were regarded as heretical and against everything the Catholic Church stood for.
